Cooter and Cooter Pinot Noir 2017 (Adelaide Hills). Pinot Noir is super trendy at the moment, but can be a little hit and miss. Some wines are just too expensive, whilst some are thin and weedy from young fruit and even younger winemakers.
This is a great example and gives you all that want in a Pinot Noir, plus more.
More of the lovely gamey, forest floor characters you want. More of the red fruits, tannins and oak which gives the wine the depth and complexity you want in a great Pinot Noir.
Cooter and Cooter Pinot Noir 2017 is a very engaging and very pretty wine that is a joy to drink. Oh did I tell you this is a just a bit over $20. You need to stock up on this wine.
Serve Slightly chilled on a warm afternoon to match with grilled lamb.
If you like Shiraz, we also have a great McLaren Vale example from the same producer.
Why don’t you put together a great mixed dozen of the two ?
