Product Description
Clarence House Reserve Chardonnay 2023 (Coal River Tasmania). Tasmania is white hot at the moment and this Cool Climate beauty from the very trendy Coal River Valley will show you why.
This wine straddles the modern Chardonnay with a touch of the old School. It still has the class and elegance you expect from a Modern Australian Chardonnay, but it also packs plenty of flavour and enjoyment. In fact, if you read any of the international wine critics, and don’t we all; they continually talk about the quality of Chardonnay coming out of Australia. In fact they are now referring to us as the “New Australia”.
These are wines that really give Premier Cru Burgundy a run for their money, at well under one third the price.
Plenty of citrus and melon flavours on the nose and palate, but it’s the overall mouth feel of the wine, where the quality really stands out. You can drink this by itself, or match with the very best of seafood and dinner party dishes.
We have been able to secure a small allocation for our customers but get in quick, they will not last !
This is the type of wine we would normally offer in our Sommelier selection, but they just do not have enough stocks left.
